Ramos sketching at the con. AWESOME! Too bad youtube only lets 10 mins of footage. On top of that, the video is already choppy enough with me turning the camera on and off. By the way, when you hear me talking? Its for my gf who couldnt be there and I was just talking about everything that I was thinking. Enjoi! Pics at the end are of venom which i asked for and his two art books: Fairy Quest and Toxic Waste. …

June 1, 2007 lecture by Bill Buxton for the Stanford University Human-Computer Interaction Seminar (CS 547). Designing for experience comes with a whole new level of complexity. This is especially true in this emerging world of information appliances, reactive environments, and ubiquitous computing, where, along with those of their users, we have to factor in the convoluted behaviors of the products themselves. In this talk, Bill discusses the design process itself, from the perspective of …

It's been a while since my last video. The reason was that I had to wait to get my new 9×12 Intuos to replace the old 4×5 Graphire I was using for the past videos. Anyway… So I got a few requests of people wanting me to show proportions of the face and how to start it. So this is a pretty basic attempt at that. I recorded it at actual speed, but it seems really slow because I'm still getting used to this new tablet. I'm at least 3 times faster with paper and a pencil. Programs used were …

i was just wondering what is a reasonable time frame for a tattoo artist to sketch out a custom tattoo. i know it depends on how busy they are, and the details and things like that. its the size to cover your bicep and is pretty detailed. when they draw up the sketch is it with all the details or just a basic outline?
i dropped off my pictures for the design, and talked to him for a few minutes, and did my own little sketch to show the idea. and then he said he would give me a call when he was finished so i could come take a look at it, so i was just curious how long it should take before i get a call to come look at the sketch.
