I was asking someone about some of the different subjects that you have to study in art school, and she told me the following “math, physics, chemistry, and perspectives”. Do you really have to study one or all of those subjects (because I **** at certain math and physics)? Isn’t that for a college that offers an art program or art as a subject? I always thought you went to an art school to study drawing, sketching, painting, digital art, sculpture, dance, photography etc.

I have just graduated high school and am exploring the university field. I want to begin a profession in advertisement design. I want to be on a design team for a major company like “Pepsi” or “Mercedes” one day and sketch out creative imaginative ideas for catchy slogans and eye grabbing visual adds. What will I need to get my degree in to insure a good chance of landing a job like this?

I think an architect’s job is quite adventurous. I am really good at drawing and sketching. But want to know that if I choose this career, it will be enough to earn my bread.

I want to study Interior Design as a BA, but most art and design institutes ask the candidates to do those practical exercises as part of their entrance exam.

1. What are you suppose to do in them?
2. Do I need to be very skilled in sketching or is a simple training good enough?

Many thanks in advance!
