You know how they sketch the drawing? well, after they do it they pen it on some kind of tracing paper/wax paper or something… then they transfer it on the skin…

Can someone explain to me the process listing exact materials?
edit: I’m asking because I want to do this at home (not a tattoo) but transfer a drawing on my skin with out having to draw on my actual skin. I’m thinking if i can use like wax paper and Vaseline or something.

My nana passed away about two weeks ago, and I have always wanted my first tattoo to be a memorable one. Daisy’s are her favorite flower, and it is mine too. So i want to get one on my hip. I found this picture of a daisy that is perfect, but it is not a sketch or anything so I dont know if I can use it. Is there a way I can convert it so it is usable, or will they be able to take it from the picture?

Im looking for a website that would have portfolios to view of tattoos professionally done. Or they would be tattoo sketching and ideas.

Im also searching for a website that would allow me to see close up images of Daisy’s tattoos, from of Daisy of Love, and Rock of Love.

i was just wondering what is a reasonable time frame for a tattoo artist to sketch out a custom tattoo. i know it depends on how busy they are, and the details and things like that. its the size to cover your bicep and is pretty detailed. when they draw up the sketch is it with all the details or just a basic outline?
i dropped off my pictures for the design, and talked to him for a few minutes, and did my own little sketch to show the idea. and then he said he would give me a call when he was finished so i could come take a look at it, so i was just curious how long it should take before i get a call to come look at the sketch.
